Blackjack Rules

Blackjack betting at casinos usually starts at five dollars and the cap will range based on the type of table you’re playing at (high stakes) and the casino. Some casinos have higher caps then others. Usually six players play at a time.

The game starts with the individual to the left of the dealer. The first player will push their bet in the betting circle. The dealer will allow a certain number of bets and then he or she will begin to deal out the cards. Cards are dealt to the players and are faced up on the table. The dealer will place his or her first card face down and their second card will be faced up so that everyone can see it. Players will make their move based on the one dealer card that they can see. Players will generally stand on anything from 16 to 21 and will typically hit on things below 11.

Blackjack is also known as 21. This is because each card has a point value. The goal of the game is to get to 21 or to get as close to 21 without busting. If you score 21 you automatically win. Individuals who beat the dealer’s cards win double what they originally bet as long as they don’t go over 21. If the dealer bust, the players win.

Blackjack is a cool casino game because it doesn’t cost a whole lot to get in and it is a game that nearly everyone can pick up quickly and so it is not intimidating. You will find Blackjack at most casinos.
